Who is Yoann Mathurin ?

Yoann Mathurin is a Belgian pilot who has studied building technique and did specialize in tiling works. He is hardworking, has a strong will along with uncommon human qualities with among them simplicity, honesty, sincerity. A pure spirit combined with the talent of a future champion !

Yoann was born on the 18th of October, 1984, in Charleroi. Early in his life, he enjoys Motorsports, specially F1 and Michaël Schumacher as a pilot ! One day he is invited in a 15' karting-race... The trigger !!! Helped by René Desaeger, his Grandfather, he starts endurance races and participates to many indoor and outdoor races. He achieves top results ! Yoann is very well coached with accurateness by Alfons Mertens, Geoffrey Mertens' father.

Circuits_IKWC 2008 - Indoor Kart World Championship

Yoann Mathurin participated in the "Indoor Kart World Championship 2008". He already qualified on the 27th of April with good results and was qualified for the Final races in August. He achieved good results with a 24th place in the Pilots Championship, a 19th one in the Teams Championship and a 8th one in the Nations Cup !

Yoann Mathurin was involved with Mathieu Solbreux in the 4h John Martin's Karting endurance race in Liège (B) on the 25th of October 2008. The "CORTEX-Camera On Board" team. Yoann and his co-pilot finished on the 2d step of the podium !
