HUGE
EXPERIENCE
In accumulating more than twenty
years, in research and development, "one off" production,
enhancing and armouring of first class vehicles (mainly
MERCEDES, ROLLS-ROYCE and several models of 4WD including
the LAND ROVER DISCOVERY and MERCEDES "G"), Jet Class
Manufacturer's philosophy has always been to obtain the
upper most quality for its products and full satisfaction of
its clients.
WIDE
RANGE
Jet Class Manufacturer's Security
Department armours several types of vehicles, saloon and
off-road cars to the highest ballistic standards of
protection (B6 & B7) for the transportation of VIP,
policemen, UN representatives.
Its in house R&D, engineering
and armouring departments dedicate their know-how to the
study, design and completion of security vehicles meeting
the stringent requirements of its customers, hard to please
in matters such as security and fitting.
WHICH
LEVEL OF PROTECTION ?
When speaking of armoured vehicles,
the first step is to determine the type of vehicle (sedan,
4WD, transportation of people or valuables) and moreover the
type of arms or ammunitions against which the user wants
protection.
Jet Class manufacturer's vehicles
are designed to resist against arms ranging from hand-gun
such as Magnum 44 to automatic rifles like the F.A.L.,
including the Kalashnikov AK74 using armour piercing or
standard ammunition, or grenades, type DM-51, which could
explode under a car.
THE SHELL
IN THE SHELL CONCEPT :
A step
closer to the major automotive manufacturers
Jet Class Manufacturer's philosophy
in armouring a vehicle, similarly to the major automotive
manufacturers, is to create a "shell in the shell "
structure, starting from a completely stripped body in
white. This means that it build inside the original body a
complete armoured structure that is welded into the original
body.
This reinforced structure not only
drastically improves the body strength ensuring remarkable
stiffness against torsion and bending, but mainly, creates
the best protection against collision, explosion and
ammunition attacks while respecting the original body shape
and structure with no ballistic holes which would permit
intrusion of projectiles in the car.
This armoured shell includes doors,
doors frames and window protection. Moreover the front and
rear bulkheads, the floor, the roof and electric circuitry
are also protected.
SUSPENSION, BRAKES AND ADDITIONAL
EQUIPMENTS
The new suspension developed by Jet
Class Manufacturer, protected by a patent application,
allows all the refinements of the original active suspension
of the vehicle to be preserved, be it Airmatic with Adaptive
Damping System or the Active Body Control system, without
suffering from the added weight of the armouring. it also
offer additional, optional equipment i.e. anti-explosion or
self repairing gas tanks, bomb detectors, automatic fire
extinguisher, oxygen supply system for the passenger
compartment, front bumper shield, special tyres allowing
driving with flat tyres, secondary protected battery, siren,
flashing lights, intercom for communication between
passengers and the outside without opening doors or
windows.
Once all the vehicle is completely
armoured in Jet Class Manufacturer's plant, it deliver the
vehicle wherever in the world the customer wishes.
MAINTENANCE AS IMPORTANT AS ARMOURING
ITSELF
It is important to draw your
attention on the fact that, as far as possible, the cars
maintenance and servicing is done by the local, official
agent of the original car manufacturer. In case of need Jet
Class Manufacturer's engineers and technicians are sent on
the spot, in any part of the world.
CERTIFICATION
For each vehicle coming out of Jet
Class Manufacturer's plant it provides the ballistic
certificates produced by a NATO recognised Authority stating
that the materials are in accordance with the standards and
protection levels requested.
At the request of prospective owner
of the vehicle or his experts we organise ballistic tests in
(his) their presence at a Military School.
We remain of course at your
disposal for extra information that you should
require.
We would be very glad to meet you
soon to discuss cars, security and to share our passion
(which has become our profession) for your complete safety
and satisfaction or to welcome you for a visit of Jet Class
Manufacturer's premises so that you can get your own feeling
for Jet Class Manufacturer's high level of know-how.
